About Lazy Loopers

Thoughtful homes.
Less overthinking.

We’re a remodeling publication for people who want a home that works beautifully—not another full-time project figuring it out.

Oak, stone, and warm neutral tile samples arranged on a worktable beside a kitchen sketch
A small selection. A clear direction. A better place to start.

Why the name?

Lazy about the runaround.
Not the details.

Remodeling can send you in loops: another saved photo, another finish sample, another opinion that contradicts the last one. Lazy Loopers is about stepping out of that cycle.

We focus on kitchens and bathrooms because these rooms do so much heavy lifting. The best ones don’t just photograph well. They make cooking, cleaning, getting ready, and living together feel easier.

Our aim is simple: help you ask better questions, recognize meaningful trade-offs, and move forward with more confidence.

Our editorial compass

Useful is a good look.

Function first

Design for Tuesday.

We care about the everyday test: where the groceries land, how the drawers open, and whether there’s a towel within reach.

Honest trade-offs

Every choice has a cost.

A beautiful material can need extra care. A moved sink can change the scope. We make space for the less glamorous side of a good decision.

Room to be yourself

Skip the rulebook look.

A small refresh can be enough. Mixed finishes can feel right. Your priorities should lead—not a checklist of what a home is supposed to have.

A note on our guidance

Ideas here. Expertise on site.

Lazy Loopers shares general information, not project-specific construction, engineering, or code advice. Costs and requirements vary by location, existing conditions, and scope.

For structural changes, plumbing, electrical work, ventilation, and waterproofing, consult appropriately qualified local professionals. Before you commit, verify measurements, product instructions, and permit requirements for your own home.
